It’s officially a new year, a new breath of fresh air, new vibes, maybe a renewed sense of self or reset moving forward. Or, perhaps you’re still struggling with some grief and loss from the previous year or even further back than that. Maybe this is still holding you up a bit, and you’re feeling stuck going into this year. That’s okay!

Just because a new year arrives doesn’t mean all of us feel this blank slate. We don’t always experience this profound and wonderful new beginning. It’s not always that straightforward, right? Today, your gain from this episode is to not just learn how to set intentions for the year (you can Google that, right?). We’ll dig into why intentions are so powerful, and how they can set us up with a better mindset in a more impactful way.

We’ll also talk about how and why determining a “word” of the year is such an awesome practice—especially while dealing with some form of grief. If this feels intimidating or like it’s too much, or if it feels like you’re already behind… release that right now.

You’re not behind, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. You’re not in a deficit. This is something you can do on YOUR terms in the way that it feels most aligned to you. This is a zero-pressure zone! All I want to help you do is begin this process if you need a pick-me-up, guidance, or inspiration—whenever you choose to do this practice.
